न चाहते हुए भी अब कुंभ में जाने की तैयारी

कोविड वैक्सीन की पहली डोज का असर लगभग तीन दिन तक रहा। हल्का बुखार व बदन दर्द परेशान करते रहे। मैं नियमित रूप से योग-प्राणायाम करता हूं, इसलिए अन्य लोगों की तरह मुझे किसी तरह का तनाव नहीं रहा। खैर! अब कुंभ रिपोर्टिंग को जाने की तैयारी है। हालांकि, इच्छा तो नहीं हो रही, लेकिन जाना तो पडे़गा ही। नौकरी में मनेच्छा भला कहां पूरी होती है। आज अप्रैल की नौ तारीख है और मुझे 11 तारीख को सुबह दस बजे तक हरिद्वार आफिस में पहुंचना है। साथ में एक छायाकार साथी भी होगा।

ऑफिस से बताया गया कि हरिद्वार कार्यालय के बगल में ही एक होटल में हमारे ठहरने की व्यवस्था की गई है। क्योंकि भीड़ बढ़ने पर हरिद्वार में होटल मिलना मुश्किल हो जाता है। दरअसल, कोरोना संक्रमण के चलते इस बार हरिद्वार कुंभ एक माह का ही हो रहा है, जिसका पहला शाही स्नान 12 अप्रैल को सोमवती अमावस्या पर होना है। इसके बाद 13 अप्रैल को चैत्र प्रतिपदा का पर्व स्नान और मेष संक्रांति पर 14 अप्रैल को दूसरा शाही स्नान होना है। यही कुंभ का मुख्य स्नान भी होगा। इसलिए इन चार दिनों में हरिद्वार ही डेरा जमेगा।

वैसे कहा तो ये भी जा रहा है कि आरटी-पीसीआर जांच की निगेटिव रिपोर्ट दिखाने के बाद ही बाहर के श्रद्धालुओं को हरिद्वार में प्रवेश करने दिया जाएगा। लेकिन, मैं जानता हूं कि ये सब हवा-हवाई बातें हैं, जो लोगों को भ्रमित करने के लिए कही जा रही हैं, ताकि मूल विषय से उनका ध्यान भटका रहे। असल में कोरोना की दूसरी लहर इतनी तेज है कि जरा-सी चूक भी कहर बरपा सकती है। कोविड गाइडलाइन का कड़ाई से पालन किए बिना इसकी चेन को नहीं तोड़ा जा सकता। लेकिन, लगता है, जैसे सरकार जान-बूझकर इसकी अनदेखी कर रही है।

मैं यह दावे के साथ कह सकता हूं कि हरिद्वार में दी जा रही इस खुली छूट के आने वाले दिनों में गंभीर परिणाम आने तय हैं। अब आगे जो-कुछ भी घटित होने वाला है, उसके लिए हरिद्वार कुंभ ही मुख्य रूप से जिम्मेदार होगा। क्योंकि, वहां लाखों की भीड़ जुटना तय है। कोरोना गाइडलाइन की धज्जियां उड़ना तय है। जाहिर है इस स्थिति में स्वयं को सुरक्षित रखना आसान नहीं होगा। खैर! देखते हैं, आगे क्या होता है। हमें तो जाना ही है, सो डरने से कोई लाभ नहीं।

The first dose of the Kovid vaccine lasted for about three days.  Mild fever and body pain continued to bother.  I do yoga pranayam regularly, so like other people I have no tension.  Well!  Now Kumbh Reporting is ready to go.  However, the desire is not being there, but will have to be known.  Where is the desire in the job fulfilled?  Today is the 9th of April and I have to reach Haridwar office by 11 am on the 11th.  There will also be a cinematography partner.

The office was told that our stay has been arranged in a hotel next to the Haridwar office.  Because it becomes difficult to find a hotel in Haridwar due to increasing congestion.  In fact, due to Corona infection, this time Haridwar Kumbh is being held for a month, whose first royal bath is to be held on April 12 on Somavati Amavasya.  After this, the festival of Chaitra Pratipada is to be bathed on 13 April and the second royal bath on 14 April on Aries Sankranti.  This will also be the main bath of Kumbh.  Therefore, in these four days only Haridwar will be encamped.

By the way, it is being said that only after showing the negative report of the RT-PCR investigation, the devotees from outside will be allowed to enter Haridwar.  But, I know that these are all aerial things, which are said to confuse people, so that their attention is distracted from the original subject.  In fact, the second wave of Corona is so strong that even a slight omission can wreak havoc.  The chain cannot be broken without strictly adhering to the Kovid Guideline.  But it seems like the government is deliberately ignoring it.

I can say with the claim that this open relaxation in Haridwar is going to have serious consequences in the coming days.  Now whatever is going to happen next, Haridwar Kumbh will be mainly responsible for it.  Because, there is sure to be a crowd of millions there.  The corona guideline is set to fly.  Obviously it will not be easy to protect yourself in this situation.  Well!  Let's see what happens next.  We have to go, so there is no benefit from being afraid.
