डायरी

आज का दिन व्यस्तताभरा रहा। रविवार शाम आठ बजे के आसपास प्रेस क्लब अध्यक्ष जितेंद्र अंथवाल का फोन आ गया था कि आज सुबह नौ बजे मुख्यमंत्री के हाथों क्लब की डायरी के विमोचन का कार्यक्रम सुनिश्चित हुआ है। उन्हीं के आवास पर विमोचन होना है, हमें सुबह पौने नौ बजे हर हाल में वहां पहुंचना पडे़गा। इसलिए आप सवा आठ बजे तक क्लब आ जाना, सभी साथ चलेंगे। वैसे आप चाहो तो सीधे मुख्यमंत्री आवास भी पहुंच सकते हो। मैंने कहा, नहीं! मैं क्लब ही पहुंचूंगा।
रात पौने ग्यारह बजे के आसपास मैं रूम में पहुंचा। थकान भी थी ही, बावजूद इसके दो बजे के बाद ही नींद आई। लेकिन, मनो-मस्तिष्क में तो विमोचन कार्यक्रम ही गूंज रहा था, इसलिए सुबह छह बजे से पहले ही आंख खुल गई। हालांकि, बिस्तर मैंने आधे घंटे बाद छोडा़। इसके बाद जल्दी-जल्दी तरोताजा होकर सात बजकर 40 मिनट पर क्लब के लिए रवाना हो गया। 25 मिनट लगे मुझे क्लब पहुंचने में। क्लब के ताले भी मेरे पहुंचने के बाद ही खुले। तकरीबन पौने नो बजे हम दो कारों में क्लब से गढी़ कैंट स्थित मुख्यमंत्री आवास की ओर रवाना हुए और 15 मिनट में वहां पहुंच गए। कुछ साथी पहले ही मुख्यमंत्री आवास पहुंच चुके थे।
क्लब अध्यक्ष जितेंद्र अंथवाल, वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष मनमोहन शर्मा, महामंत्री ओपी बेंजवाल, कोषाध्यक्ष नवीन कुमार, पूर्व अध्यक्ष देवेंद्र सती, भूपेंद्र कंडारी, नवीन थलेडी़ व चेतन गुरुंग, एक्टिव मीडिया प्रेस क्लब मसूरी के पूर्व अध्यक्ष शूरवीर भंडारी, क्लब प्रभारी सुबोध भट्ट और मुझ समेत हम 12 लोग थे। संयोग से नवप्रकाशित डायरी-डायरेक्टरी-स्मारिका के संपादन का सौभाग्य एक बार फिर मुझे मिला है। पूरे तीन महीने लगे मुझे इस डायरी को तैयार करने में, लेकिन संतुष्टि इस बात की है कि एक बेहतरीन चीज तैयार हो गई। उम्मीद है कि हर कोई इसे संजोकर रखना चाहेगा।
खैर! साढे़ नौ बजे हम मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के कैंप कार्यालय में थे। वहीं उनके हाथों डायरी का विमोचन हुआ। कुछ महत्वपूर्ण बिंदुओं पर चर्चा हुई और चाय पीकर हम क्लब वापस लौट आए। क्लब में नाश्ता तैयार था। अन्य साथी तो नाश्ता करके इधर-उधर चले गए, लेकिन मेरे लिए रूम में लौटकर भोजन बनाना संभव नहीं था। सो, मैंने क्लब में ही दोपहर का भोजन कर सीधे आफिस पहुंचने का फैसला किया। इस दौरान कोई काम तो था नहीं, इसलिए दो बजे तक मैं क्लब कार्यालय में ही आराम करता रहा। भोजन कर पौने तीन बजे मैं आफिस पहुंचा।
अब कुछ दिन बाद क्लब की त्रैमासिक पत्रिका 'गुलदस्ता' के वार्षिकांक पर काम शुरू करना है। योजना है कि यह अंक उत्तराखंड आंदोलन पर केंद्रित किया जाए। इसमें हम ऐसे व्यक्तियों के अनुभव समेटना चाहते हैं, जो इस ऐतिहासिक आंदोलन का हिस्सा रहे हैं। ये सभी लोग प्रदेशभर से होंगे। कोशिश रहेगी कि 21 व्यक्तियों के अनुभव तो पुस्तक में हर हाल में शामिल हों। ताकि यह पुस्तक संग्रहणीय बन सके। इस पर मंथन चल रहा है, उम्मीद है कि सफलता भी अवश्य मिलेगी। फिलहाल तो इतना ही कहना है।

Today has been a busy day. Around eight o'clock on Sunday evening, a call was received from Press Club President Jitendra Anthwal that the program for the release of the club's diary has been ensured in the hands of the Chief Minister at nine o'clock this morning. Release is to be held at his residence, we will have to reach there at quarter to nine in the morning. That's why you come to the club by 8.15 pm, everyone will go together. By the way, if you want, you can also reach the Chief Minister's residence directly. I said no! I'll go to the club.
I reached the room around eleven o'clock in the night. There was fatigue too, despite this, sleep came only after two o'clock. But, the release program itself was resonating in the mind and brain, so the eyes were opened before six o'clock in the morning. However, I left the bed after half an hour. After this, he quickly refreshed and left for the club at 7.40 pm. It took me 25 minutes to reach the club. The locks of the club also opened only after I reached. At around quarter to nine, we left the club in two cars towards the Chief Minister's residence at Garhi Cantt and reached there in 15 minutes. Some companions had already reached the Chief Minister's residence.
Club President Jitendra Anthwal, Senior Vice President Manmohan Sharma, General Secretary OP Benzwal, Treasurer Naveen Kumar, Former President Devendra Sati, Bhupendra Kandari, Naveen Thaledi and Chetan Gurung, Former President of Active Media Press Club Mussoorie Shoorveer Bhandari, Club In-charge Subodh Bhatt and me. We were 12 people. Incidentally, I have once again got the privilege of editing the newly published Diary-Directory-Souvenir. It took me three whole months to prepare this diary, but the satisfaction is that a wonderful thing has been prepared. Hope everyone will like to cherish it.
So! We were at Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's camp office at 9.30 am. There the diary was released in his hands. Some important points were discussed and after having tea, we returned to the club. Breakfast was ready in the club. The other companions went here and there after having breakfast, but it was not possible for me to return to the room and prepare food. So, I decided to have lunch at the club itself and go straight to the office. There was no work during this, so I kept resting in the club office till two o'clock. After having dinner, I reached the office at three o'clock.
Now a few days later, work is to start on the annual issue of the club's quarterly magazine 'Guldasta'. The plan is to focus this issue on the Uttarakhand movement. In this we would like to capture the experiences of individuals who have been a part of this historic movement. All these people will be from all over the state. Efforts will be made to include the experiences of 21 persons in the book at any cost. So that this book can become collectible. Brainstorming is going on on this, hopefully success will also come. That's all I have to say for now.
