व्हीटग्रास से सपनों को आकार देता उद्यमी

अब तक के पत्रकारीय जीवन में न जाने कितनी तरह के लोग मिले, जिनमें सबको याद रख पाना संभव नहीं। लेकिन, कुछ लोग ऐसे भी हैं, जिन्होंने मुझे गहरे तक प्रभावित किया, अपने उद्यम से, अपने सृजन से और अपनी निर्दोष उपलब्धियों से। इनमें एक हैं देहरादून निवासी राकेश ममगाईं, जिनके उद्यम से जुड़कर 45 से अधिक परिवार अच्छी-खासी आय अर्जित कर रहे हैं। सो, मेरी भी जिम्मेदारी बनती है कि ममगाईं जी के कार्य व उपलब्धियों को आमजन के बीच ले जाऊं। मेरे ऐसा करने से अगर ममगाईं जी के उद्यम को जरा भी फ़ायदा होता है तो तय मानिए कि अंततः इसका व्यापक लाभ आम जनमानस को ही मिलना है। क्षेत्र की आर्थिकी मजबूत होगी सो अलग और देखा जाए तो यही राष्ट्र की मजबूती का आधार भी है।
मूलरूप से पौड़ी गढ़वाल ज़िले के पौड़ी ब्लाक स्थित भीमली (भ्यूंली) मल्ली निवासी राकेश ममगाईं देहरादून में ही पले-बढ़े। उनकी स्नातक की शिक्षा-दीक्षा भी देहरादून में ही हुई। वर्तमान में उनका परिवार सहस्रधारा रोड पर रह रहा है। वर्ष 2003 तक ममगाईं जी चंडीगढ़ में इलेक्ट्रिक पैनल बनाने का कार्य करते थे, लेकिन इसके बाद वह देहरादून लौट आए। यहां उन्होंने कई कार्यों में हाथ आजमाया, लेकिन सुकून मिला वर्ष 2008 में देहरादून से लगभग 40 किमी दूर पछवादून स्थित रुद्रपुर गांव में जमीन खरीदने के बाद कृषि कार्य शुरू करने पर। लांघा रोड पर स्थित रुद्रपुर गांव में उन्होंने 50 बीघा जमीन खरीदकर वर्ष 2009 में उस पर छह पॉलीहाउस स्थापित किए और उनमें फूलों की खेती शुरू कर दी। धीरे-धीरे फूलों की खेती के कारोबार में लोगों की संख्या बढ़ने लगी तो उन्होंने अब सब्ज़ी उत्पादन पर ध्यान केंद्रित कर दिया।
इस बीच उन्हें ऑस्ट्रेलिया जाने का मौका मिला, जहां उन्हें विशेषज्ञों से व्हीटग्रास पाउडर और मोरिंगा लीफ पाउडर तैयार करने की प्रेरणा मिली। देश वापस लौटकर उन्होंने एमडी ऑर्गेनिक फर्म्स नाम से कंपनी पंजीकृत कराई और फिर Food Safety and Standards Authority of India से लाइसेंस लेकर व्हीटग्रास व मोरिंगा लीफ पाउडर पर काम शुरू कर दिया। शुरुआत में उन्होंने गेहूं के ज्वारे गमलों में उगाए और इससे तैयार व्हीटग्रास पाउडर को पसंद किए जाने पर फिर पॉलीहाउस में इसे उगाना शुरू कर दिया। मोरिंगा लीफ पाउडर तैयार करने के लिए उन्होंने बड़ी संख्या में सहजन के पेड़ लगाए हैं।
बढ़ाएंगे व्हीटग्रास व मोरिंगा लीफ का उत्पादन

ममगाईं जी के पास अभी मार्केटिंग की बहुत अच्छी व्यवस्था नहीं है, बावजूद इसके एमडी ऑर्गेनिक फर्म्स के बनाए व्हीटग्रास व मोरिंगा लीफ पाउडर की पंजाब, हरियाणा, दिल्ली, लखनऊ आदि शहरों में अच्छी-खासी मांग है। फिलहाल ममगाईं जी व्हीटग्रास व मोरिंगा लीफ के सौ-सौ ग्राम वाले 500-500 डिब्बे हर माह उक्त शहरों को सप्लाई कर रहे हैं। अब उनकी पॉलीहाउस की संख्या बढ़ाने की योजना है, ताकि गेहूं के ज्वारे का उत्पादन बढ़ सके।
हाथोंहाथ उठ जाती हैं ऑर्गनिक सब्जियां

ममगाईं जी की उगाई ऑर्गनिक सब्जियों की भी वर्तमान में खूब मांग है। वह आलू, टमाटर, शिमला मिर्च, बीन्स, तोरी, लौकी, खीरा, भिंडी आदि का उत्पादन करते हैं। अधिकांश माल रिलायंस कंपनी खेत से ही उठा लेती है और शेष माल मंडी व स्थानीय लोग खरीद लेते हैं।
प्रतिवर्ष एक से डेढ़ करोड़ की आमदनी

मौसमी-बेमौसमी सब्जियों औऱ व्हीटग्रास व मोरिंगा लीफ पाउडर की बिक्री से ममगाईं जी प्रतिवर्ष एक से डेढ़ करोड़ रुपये कमा लेते हैं। आने वाले समय में उनकी एलोवेरा उत्पादों पर काम करने की भी योजना है। इसके लिए उन्होंने फार्म में व्यापक स्तर पर एलोवेरा का रोपण किया है।
Originally a resident of Bhimli (Bhunli) Malli located in Pauri block of Pauri Garhwal district, Rakesh Mamgain grew up in Dehradun. His graduation was also done in Dehradun only. Presently his family is living on Sahasradhara Road. Till the year 2003, Mamgain ji used to make electric panels in Chandigarh, but after that he returned to Dehradun. Here he tried his hand in many works, but got peace in the year 2008 after starting agriculture work after buying land in Rudrapur village, Pachhwadun, about 40 km from Dehradun. He bought 50 bighas of land in Rudrapur village on Langha road and set up six polyhouses on it in the year 2009 and started flower cultivation in them. Gradually, as the number of people started increasing in the business of floriculture, they now focused on vegetable production.
Meanwhile, he got a chance to go to Australia, where he got inspiration from experts to prepare wheatgrass powder and moringa leaf powder. Returning to the country, he got the company registered under the name MD Organic Firms and then after taking license from Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, started working on wheatgrass and moringa leaf powder. Initially, he grew wheatgrass in pots and after liking the wheatgrass powder prepared from it, then started growing it in polyhouse. He has planted a large number of drumstick trees to prepare moringa leaf powder.
Will increase production of wheatgrass and moringa leaf
------------------------Mamgai ji does not have a very good marketing system yet, yet there is a good demand for wheatgrass and moringa leaf powder made by MD Organic Firms in cities like Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Lucknow etc. At present, Mamgain ji is supplying 500-500 boxes of 100 grams each of Wheatgrass and Moringa Leaf to the above cities every month. Now he has a plan to increase the number of polyhouses, so that the production of wheat and jowar can increase.
Organic vegetables are picked up immediately

The organic vegetables grown by Mamgai ji are also in great demand at present. They produce Potato, Tomato, Capsicum, Beans, Zucchini, Bottle Gourd, Cucumber, Okra etc. Reliance Company picks up most of the goods from the farm and the remaining goods are bought by the market and the local people.
Income of 1 to 1.5 crore per annum

Mamgai ji earns one to one and a half crore rupees every year from the sale of seasonal and off-season vegetables and wheatgrass and moringa leaf powder. He also plans to work on aloe vera products in the coming times. For this, he has planted aloe vera on a large scale in the farm.
